As a company founded on the tenets of team collaboration, we see the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology and the Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process as a natural extension of our design and construction management services. Our project teams work with owners using 3-dimensional (3D) building modeling to ensure coordination of design, engineering, schedules, subcontractor submissions, and construction logistics before the project moves into the physical construction phase. By identifying and solving problems within a 3D digital model prior to construction, we deliver better outcomes that save time and money.

Our design team uses the building model to catalog and manage all project data developed, starting with the first programming meeting and continuing through the turnover of as-built project documentation. BIM is a powerful 3D communication and visualization tool in our toolbox that can be used for clash detection and coordination, and for real-time costing, 4D scheduling, commissioning and facility management. We engage clients in a discussion early on, so as a team we can determine how to use this tool and which of these applications can serve them best, given their project type and scope.
