New Mercedes Dealership Under Construction in PA. Several Enviro-friendly Features Included.

Construction has begun for the new 50,000 square foot Mercedes Benz Dealership in Doylestown, PA, for client Keenan Motors.  The project is scheduled for completion in October of 2016.  There are several environmentally friendly aspects to the project.  They include a 35,000 gallon underground rain water collection tank, which will collect all of the rain water from the building's roofs.  This water will be used as the primary source of water for the dealership's car wash system.  Used water from the car wash will be filtered and cleaned through the settling tank and bio reclaim tank.  Used engine oil will fuel a boiler system that will provide in-slab radiant heat, plus heating for all ductwork systems in the building.  Supplemental heat will be provided by natural gas, plentiful in Pennsylvania.  Storm water from the parking lots will be directed into underground infiltration basins and detention basins, to ensure minimal run off of storm water from the site.  The high end construction that is associated with Mercedes Benz will be in full display in the showroom, customer lounges and boutique areas.  The entire building, including the shop areas will be done with ceramic and porcelain tile.  Structural Steel is scheduled for the first week of January, 2016.
