State College of Florida's president, Carol Probstfeld, and local media, just toured the new 63,000 square foot Library and Learning Center we're building on their Bradenton campus.

Beaumont at Worcester Grand Opening

A Grand Opening celebration was just held for Beaumont at Worcester. Cutler Associates and Cutler Design worked with SALMON Health and Retirement to turn their Plantation Street location into a preeminent short-term rehabilitation site for Central Massachusetts.

Extensive interior renovations to the entry-level public spaces create a fresh, inviting experience for all visitors.The new Internet café and multi-media room are high-tech destinations for residents, their family members and friends. Beaumont’s just-enlarged rehabilitation gym includes state-of-the-art services for both occupational and physical therapy.Specific attention was paid to the level housing short-term rehab residents. 

The four residential floors received complete interior renovations, in keeping with the concepts developed for the entry area. Specific attention was paid to the level housing short-term rehab residents. One wing was renovated to modify the semi-private rooms into private rooms. In addition, Beaumont’s Tapestry Program area received renovations specific to the needs of those with memory impairment, such as brighter lighting, their own beauty salon and a calming interior environment.

Through careful planning and tight coordination, Beaumont at Worcester remained fully occupied throughout nearly four months of construction.

Progress at Pasco County's new Cypress Creek Middle High School

This short drone video shows progress on the 150 acre site of Pasco County's new Middle High School in Wesley Chapel, FL. The 250,000 SF school will be ready for students and faculty in July 2017.

Cutler to Participate in SCUP 2017 No. Atlantic Regional Conference

The annual North Atlantic Regional Conference of the Society of College and University Planning will take place at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA, March 5-7. As part of the 3-day program, Cutler and Cartwells Higher Education Dining Services will offer a tour of Morgan Hall Dining Commons on Tuesday, 3/6, 2:45-3:45.

The project is being showcased to demonstrate how an old, inefficient and cramped dining hall was transformed into a stunning, modern market-style dining commons with countless menu offerings and a variety of seating types and configurations to meet and exceed the needs of a growing student body. Attendes will learn how the team managed the logistics of a substantial renovation, while ensuring adequate dining spaces were maintained throughout the project.

The tour will continue outside to the terrace and "wedge" student-gathering areas overlooking the re-furbished quad. The terrace, wedge and quad installation followed the dining renovation. Cutler partnered with Halvorson Design on this project.

Olympia Place Featured as NEREJ Project of the Month

Award-winning Olympia Place received front cover position as the New England Real Estate's "Project of the Month" for February, 2017.

Olympia Place Wins DBIA-NE Gold Award

At their annual meeting and awards ceremony held January 12th in Framingham, MA, the New England chapter of the Design-Build Institute of America recognized Olympia Place with a gold award, as an outstanding design-build project.

The 5-story complex adjacent to the UMass Amherst campus offers 75 apartments, private study rooms, breakout rooms, a fitness center and coffee bar. The project was a collaborative effort by developer Archipelago Investments of Amherst, architects DiMella Shaffer of Boston and Holst Architects of Portland, OR, and Cutler Associates as design-builder. The project has been registered with the US Green Building Council, seeking the LEED Gold level for sustainability.
